wonderful warm weekend

We had a great weekend....didn't do anything exciting, but that's just the way I like it. If only the weekend would last a little longer! :)
Sweet babies in the bath!

Tucker was asleep in the living room and Aaron found him like this.  Clara had covered him up. She's such a little mother hen:)
Clara cracks us up all the time. She brought her monkey out and sat him on the porch so he could watch us play baseball:)
Yay!  We noticed the first little sign of sping in our yard today!
We got all signed up for baseball and Reece is SO excited! They have been in the yard almost every evening practicing!  I'm excited too!  I love going to the games and practices!
Just a silly picture of our silly boy!  Clara was sick on Monday and Tuesday and Reece was sick on Wednesday and Thursday.  I was so glad to see them back to normal this weekend!  Hopefully the winter sickness has left our house! :)
Reece and Aaron also went fishing this weekend! Reece caught a nice bass!  Not quite long enough to keep, but he sure was proud of it!:)  He said he caught the "big fish" of the day!

Fall Fun

We sure are loving our fall days and all the activities that come along with fall.  What have we been up to lately?  Well, here are some highlights:

We watched Reece in his four wheeler race!
 He did an awesome job!

He got 3rd place...he was VERY proud
Aaron went with Reece and his class on their field trip to the pumpkin patch.
We have been spending our evenings playing in the yard and enjoying the weather!
We went to the fair...
I figured Clara would LOVE the Ferris Wheel, however, she did NOT!  She screamed the whole time it was going! Look at Reece in the background!  Lovin' life!
And with 2 boys in our house who are completely consumed with hunting, you can't forget about deer season!  We had to get the tree stands and blind ready!
They are all set!  Reece has been SO excited about going with his daddy! And Aaron loves taking him! They have such a great time together!  Reece doesn't mind getting up at 4 am at all!

And get out the bows!
Reece loves watching Aaron shoot his and shooting his own!  He is getting so good!  He can pull his bow own back and shoot a real arrow and hit the target! Pretty impressive for a little guy!

Momma even climbed up and enjoyed the view from the treestand! :)
Lovin' our fun fall days!

Fun at the Farm

Well, I have so much I want to blog about...I love being busy, but that doesn't leave much time for blogging!  So, I'll start with last weekend.  We took a little drive down to Aaron's uncle's farm.  It is about 45 minutes from here.  If you looked up "middle of nowhere" on the map, it would point you directly here.  It IS the middle of nowhere:)  But it is SO pretty there! Aaron hunts there a lot, and Kent has been joining him in the last year or so.  We went there to "rescue" an old hunting blind and ride around and enjoy the pretty day!
Even the drive down there is so pretty! Every time I go down that way, I always think how glad I am that my kids aren't growing up surrounded by concrete.  I love that they love to be outside and enjoy doing things like this.
Someday when I have lots of extra time and money, I would love to fix this old house up.  I think it has so much potential! Look at those big windows and the old metal roof!I love it! Aaron's mammaw grew up in this house :)
Reece and Clara were so interested in this little guy...
Reece and Aaron worked hard clearing out some roads for hunting.
And I really wanted to pick this and take it home, but I'm pretty sure it had to be poisonous.  :(  Isn't it pretty, though!?
This is a HUGE rock...Reece and Aaron climbed to the top.
One area of the farm has some old junk piles of some neat things. I would love to really dig through it some day.  I'm sure there are some great finds:)  I saw this old type writer and I could see pieces of an old sewing machine under it.  One day I'll dig it out:)  I felt like I was on an episode of American Pickers.
I did make it home with some adorable old glasses.  And a picture of this VERY old John Deere tractor.  It's so old the trees have actually gown up around the tractor.
Such a beautiful, fun day!  The only bad part was Reece got eaten alive by seed ticks.  Aaron and I got a few but he was covered!  You should see how many bites he has!  It doesn't bother him a bit, though:)

We have a 3 day weekend coming up! I am SO happy!  Football season starts!  That makes me even happier:)  We are going to a new pizza place and to the high school Bomber game tomorrow night!  I'm excited!  It's gonna be a good weekend!

Fireworks!

Last night, we went to the ASU fireworks.  They are by-far the best fireworks in our area.  The weather was beautiful and the fireworks were amazing!  It was a great night!
Having a little snack...
Loungin' on daddy's lap...
Ya gotta have ice cream!
Aaron and Reece walked down to a creek while we were waiting...
It is nearly impossible to get a picture of both kids looking at the camera.  This next picture cracks me up...it is pretty typical of us trying to get a good picture :)
Reece and Clara had a big time running in the field.
There was a beautiful sky right before it got dark.
Then the fireworks started!  They were SO good!  Reece loved them, and Clara wasn't scared at all.  She sat on my lap, pointing, and saying, "Wow...prie (pretty)."
