Branson

We spent the last 3 days in Branson. We had a great time. Here are lots of pictures of our trip...Little nap on the way to Branson.
This is kind of a random picture, but I love seeing Reece with his suitcase. It's so cute to see him rolling it through the hotel with his little duck and toothbrush and toothpaste. :)
The first day we were there, we did some shopping and rode go-carts.
Then back to the hotel to swim in the pool!

Here's the beginning of our first day at Silver Dollar City. Reece and Aaron rode the big swings.
Grandpa and Clara watching the swings...
I rode the butterflies and frogs with Reece and Clara. She loved it!

Reece rode his first roller coaster! Thunderation! He said that and Fire in the Hole were his favorite rides!
Daddy took some good pictures while we were riding the American Plunge! Thanks Daddy!

Silly boy running through the water...

Waiting in the train station...

Sweet girl watching the cloggers...

A rare thing...a picture of just Aaron and me...

Aaron and me riding Powder Keg...in the front...YIKES!!!!
Reece and Aaron on the Up-Down slides...
Sleepy girl in her stroller....
Waiting for the magic show to start...Reece LOVED it!
(We also watced a stunt dog show that was SO cute! Reece loved that one also, and Clara "barked" through the whole show...she enjoyed it also:)
Reece got to pick out one thing for a "souvenir." It was no surprise when he picked out a SDC gun. He was so proud! Then as we were leaving the store, a man stopped us and told Reece he had to have a permit to carry the gun. Since Reece didn't have a "permit," the man gave him one and made him and honorary deputy and gave him a badge! He was SO proud!

L Day

For L day, we had lunch at the lake.
The water felt SO good!
Clara has the BEST time in the water! She loves throwing the rocks.

I got this hat about 10 years ago at a little dress shop next door to the jewelry store I worked at while I was in college. They were having a sidewalk sale, and I thought this hat was so cute. For whatever reason, I didn't try it on, and when I got it home it was WAY too small for my big head. Rather than taking it back, I thought, "Oh well, maybe one day I'll have a little girl who can wear it." I have kept it all these years, and what do ya know, here's my little girl wearing the hat! I think it is just perfect for her!

I LOVE this picture!
I couldn't decide if I liked black and white or color, so I put them both.Reece enjoyed his lunch!

This evening we had some cherry limeades. Reece is always asking when we can use our "fancy" glasses. I always tell him that they are for special days. He was so excited to get to drink his limeade out of a special glass. I think cherry limeades are a perfect reason to get out the fancy glasses, don't you? :)
We also had lollipops.

And we played with Lincoln logs.
A perfectly, lovely L day!

K Day

It was...
day at our house.
For breakfast we had Special K cereal.
Reece made kool-aid.
We made Kiss cookies.
Mmmm...they were good! Reece loved pushing the kiss into the middle.
Then we attempted to fly a kite.
There wasn't very much wind today. So it's a good thing Reece likes to run. He made is own wind! :)
I just had to put this picture in to show Clara's curls! They were SO curly today! Look at those little ringlets!
We came back inside and snacked on some kettle corn. This has become one of Reece's favorite snacks, so he was so glad to have it for K day.
