Almost every Saturday, you can find some puppies for sale at wal-mart. We have never stopped, but the other day, there were some AKC lab puppies. We have a huge heart for labs so, just for fun, we stopped. Reece was in love! He talked about them all day. We really had no intention of getting one. However, we have always talked about having labs in all 3 colors (chocolate, yellow and black). The more we thought about it and talked about it, we thought-why not! Pets are great for giving kids a sense of responsibility and ownership. Reece loves Tucker, but Tucker had been around for several years when Reece was born. We want this little guy to be Reece's. Every little boy needs a puppy, right!?!
Reece had no idea we were getting one. We got it today and surprised him when we picked him up! He was so excited!
So...meet...JACK
Why Jack? Well, for Black Jack!
He has already had so much fun with Reece! They ran around the yard all evening. Jack was Reece's little shadow! And Tucker really seems to like him. We are hoping he will keep Tucker company so Tucker will stay here and not run over to Nana and Papa's everyday!
Reece loves little Jack! Clara, on the other hand, isn't too sure! She is very interested in him, but I think she needs a little more time to warm up! :)
