Our Little Graduate

We are soooo proud of this little guy! Reece had his preschool graduation this week. He had been looking forward to this day for about a month. He practiced his songs almost every night. On the morning of his graduation, he was up at 5:45 a.m. dressed and ready to go. He was so excited!

He was so proud to be able to carry the flag. Singing some songs....

Getting his diploma from Mrs. Cathy
Here are the four graduates. It's kind of neat to think that these four will grow up together and spend the next 12 years with each other in school. Reece's daddy and James' daddy are good friends and grew up together. It's neat that James and Reece are the same.

Part of me is sad that Reece is growing up and about to go to kindergarten. But I am so excited to get to see him everyday. It's going to be fun having him at kindergarten!

Mother's Day 2010

A mother is a person who seeing there are only four pieces of pie for five people, promptly announces she never did care for pie. ~Tenneva Jordan
Being a full-time mother is one of the highest salaried jobs in my field, since the payment is pure love. ~Mildred B. Vermont
The moment a child is born, the mother is also born. She never existed before. The woman existed, but the mother, never. A mother is something absolutely new. ~Rajneesh

She never quite leaves her children at home, even when she doesn't take them along. ~Margaret Culkin Banning

When you are a mother, you are never really alone in your thoughts. A mother always has to think twice, once for herself and once for her child. ~Sophia Loren,

I love my mother as the trees love water and sunshine - she helps me grow, prosper, and reach great heights. ~Terri Guillemets

These 2 sweet babies make my world! Being a mom really is the hardest job in the world, but I would not trade one moment of it! I just look at them and my heart feels like it's going to explode!

I'm a day late on my Mother's Day post, but I had a great one! Aaron got up with both kids and let me sleep in! I woke up to a clean house, laundry going, breakfast and this sweet card! Reece is getting SO good at writing!

Aaron helped put their handprints on there and Reece drew our family and put initials by each person:)

Just for fun, here is Mother's day from 2009:

I love being a momma to these 2 babies! I sure wish I could make them stop growing so fast!

Yard Work

These pictures were from last weekend, but I wanted to keep them in our blog "journal." We worked in the yard last weekend...made a new flower bed, planted bushes, and Kent came up and knocked a dead tree down with the tractor. This is truly Reece's favorite kind of day!He does not take his eyes off of the tiller! He loves watching it!
Clara was right there to help...Reece loved watching this too!

And he had to get on and take a little ride :)

Park Day!

It was supposed to be a rainy day today, but it really turned out beautiful. We ate Subway at the park and fed the ducks. Both kiddos had a blast!
