N and O Days

Yesterday and today we mixed N day and O day.
We made noodle necklaces...
Reece gave a noodle necklace to Grandma and Nana...
We went to Grandma and Grandpa's house and had supper and played outside! We also got to see our New Mexico family! Including our cousin Olivia!
Clara wore her New Mexico shirt for her PJs.
This morning we had oatmeal bars for breakfast.  But we had to eat them on run because we were going to spend the whole day outside on the Norfork lake.
O for Olivia :)  Last night when we were leaving Grandma and Grandpa's house, Reece said, "I really like Olivia!"
Reece was SO brave to jump off the top of the pontoon!
Crazy Kent!
Reece loved the wave runner!
Aaron jumping off the cliffs...
I thought this was funny...our sea of rafts...
At the end of our day at the lake, I said, "Reece, is this your best day ever?"
He looked at me and paused for a minute and said, "Well, this is my best day so far this year!"
And tonight we had Oreos for dessert!
Clara always takes the Oreo apart, but tonight she took it apart and started staring at Reece like, "Hey, why does he get to splash his in that milk?"
Tonight at supper, we talked about how we spent the whole day outside at the Norfork lake for N and O days, but then we decided we spent the whole day outside in the Ozarks Ocean! :)

Baby Blues

Here's one of those "you need to write that down moments"...

Reece likes wearing "collar shirts" when he goes out somewhere.  You know he is going somewhere important when he puts a collar shirt on.  We were heading out today and he came out with his collar shirt on.
Me:  "Reece, you look so handsome!  When Aunt Pammy comes this evening, she is not going to recognize you.  You look so grown up!

Reece:  "Oh yes she will!  She will see these blue eyes and know it is me!"

I love my Reece!  Especially those blue eyes! :)

M Day

Monday was the perfect day for M!  We started out with muffins and milk.
Clara loves muffins, but she always has to give me this look like, "what is this?"
We played memory, and as always, Reece beat me.  I do not let him win...he is so good at memory.
We made Mohawks!
Then, we pulled Reece's mattress into the living room and watched the movie Madagascar.
What are they snacking on???
What else?  M & M's!! (we broke tiny pieces off for Clara:)
I had a few more M things planned for this evening...we were going to make maracas and milkshakes, but we found out that a friend of ours was playing baseball in Mountain Home, so we went to watch his game.  Clara had a big time waving at everyone, and Reece loves watching baseball!  When the baseball players come near him, you would think he was looking at a celebrity...he is completely mesmerized by them:)

Pool Party!

Reece has always been very timid about water.  Even last week when we took him to the lake, he would not get in without holding on to one of us...even with his life jacket.  We finally got him to let go of us where he couldn't touch, but he stayed within an arm's reach.  Yesterday, Reece's friend, Hendrix, had a pool party.  Reece was very excited about going, but I figured he would stay in the shallow end where he could touch.  Well, after about 30 minutes, I looked over and he was climbing onto the diving board.  I thought, "there is no way he is gonna jump off of it" so I sat there and watched and sure enough he did!  I couldn't believe it!  He was SO proud!
That's the birthday boy Hendrix in the water...
There is Reece's best buddy James (in the green) and Kyrin.
Brenton and Aiden were there also...
At first Reece held his nose and closed his eyes...
But, by the time the party was over, he was doing cannon balls! Seriously!
Do you think he's taking lessons from his Uncle Eric who was doing DOUBLE flips?!?!
Fun, fun party!

Fireworks!

Last night, we went to the ASU fireworks.  They are by-far the best fireworks in our area.  The weather was beautiful and the fireworks were amazing!  It was a great night!
Having a little snack...
Loungin' on daddy's lap...
Ya gotta have ice cream!
Aaron and Reece walked down to a creek while we were waiting...
It is nearly impossible to get a picture of both kids looking at the camera.  This next picture cracks me up...it is pretty typical of us trying to get a good picture :)
Reece and Clara had a big time running in the field.
There was a beautiful sky right before it got dark.
Then the fireworks started!  They were SO good!  Reece loved them, and Clara wasn't scared at all.  She sat on my lap, pointing, and saying, "Wow...prie (pretty)."
