G Day

G day started with green eggs, grape jelly toast, and great bacon! :)
The green eggs are in honor of the Dr. Seuss book, Green Eggs & Ham.
I just love these morning, sleepy-eyed, bed-head pictures! Too cute! :)
Then we made green goo (cornstarch, water, and food coloring)
Reece loved this! He played with it for the longest time.
Reece had go-gurt for snack.
We also played some games like go-fish and war.
For lunch we went over to Grandma & Grandpa's house.
Grandpa grilled brats. We also had grapes, corn, and Gatorade.
For dessert, we had gooey brownie cookies!

Grandma's girl...
Every time we go to Grandma & Grandpa's house, Reece always looks for these geese. He kept asking Grandma why she put them there. She told him he could move them if he wanted. He was so excited to be able to put the geese anywhere he wanted. When he was finished he said he "organized the geese."
This evening I had a dinner to go to with some of the kindergarten teachers. Clara went with me. So we said the girls were going to dinner and the guys were going golfing. Here's a picture before we left.
And here's Reece golfing. :)

For bedtime, we read one of our favorites, The Giving Tree.
