Blue Skies and Sunshine!

We had another beautiful day today! Yesterday we were couped up in the house...(Reece started running a fever yesterday). He was feeling better today, and we were all ready to get out of the house and enjoy some fresh air. We drove down to the fields where there is a little trail and a four wheeler jump. Clara and I had fun watching the boys play. And the beautiful blue sunny sky made for some pretty pictures!

Tucker followed them around in circles around the field. Until...

he got tired and decided just to watch! :)We went up to visit Uncle Kent. Look at that sky! I love it! Reece said this was his favorite picture because it shows the farm behind him.

Where does he get the idea to do something so daredevil-ish???....hmmm....

Now switching gears a little...Here's what I saw yesterday when I got out of the shower. Aaron was laying on the floor and Clara crawled up on him and fell asleep. Sweet baby girl!

I LOVE my little boy!

Our sweet little Reece was officially registered for kindergarten this week. I cannot believe he will be in kindergarten next year! It's gonna be so fun to see him there everyday!

A little story: Last fall, I had a bowl of pinecones as a decoration in our house. Anytime Reece would see a pinecone at Nana's work house, he would keep it for me and we would add it to the bowl. We put the pinecones away after Christmas. The other day when we picked Reece up, he had a big collection of "new decorations" for me. It just melts my heart that while he is busy playing with is friends he is sweet enough to think of his momma and collect some decorations for me. He got leaves, pine needles, pinecones, and some neat sticks. We put them in a sack and brought them home. I put them all in a bowl, and I think I have a BEAUTIFUL new centerpiece for my table. And I love it even more because every piece was picked by Reece.

Camping and Sunshine

Aaron is such a great daddy! When we got home on Friday, he had put the tent up upstairs so he and Reece could "camp out" this weekend! Reece was SO excited! They camped out Friday and again on Saturday. I could hear them up there just talking away. :)

Yesterday was SUCH a BEAUTIFUL day! We all went outside and just sat in the sun! It felt so good! Reece and Aaron practiced t-ball and golf, and Clara and I watched. When Reece would hit the ball and take off running, Clara would crack up! She had so much fun watching him. I can't wait until t-ball season starts! (Reece got signed up a few weekends ago...practices should start soon!)

This day made me ready for SPRING!!! Aaron and I noticed one of the trees in our yard has some little bitty buds on it, so spring will be here soon! :)

1 Sweet Girl

Since Clara is 1 and she is such a sweet girl, the theme of her party was "1 sweet girl." It was fun putting this party together. I turned my red curtains around backwards and they looked pink! Perfect! The flowers hanging from the light are just made of tissue paper. I stuck pictures of Clara on the table in groups. There was a group of "sweet dreams" and I had pictures of her sleeping, "sweet sister" with pictures of her and Reece, "sweet daughter" with pictures of Clara and me and Aaron, "sweet face" with pictures of her close-up, and "sweet baby" with pictures of her when she was a baby. We even had a "sweet sound track." Uncle Kent burned a CD with all sweet songs. We had the songs Sweet Pea, Sweet Sweet Smile, Sweet Child of Mine, How Sweet It Is, My Love Sweet Love, and Sweet Thing.

Dear Clara,
I cannot belive you are 1 year old today! You have brought so much joy to our little family. I look at you and feel like my heart is going to explode. You are such a sweet little girl and you have such a personality! You adore your brother, love your daddy, and you are a total momma's girl! I can't imagine life without you. You will never know how much your daddy and I love you! Happy first birthday sweet baby!
