E Day

What a perfect day for E day, since it was the eleventh day of June!:)
E Day started with eggs!

Then, we noticed something on the table!  The Envelope Elf came to our house last night!  He left eight envelopes!
In the first envelope, the Envelope Elf left us this message...
Each envelope had a clue that started with Ee.  The clue helped us find a set of eyes!
Here was the first clue...
Reece had to find the eggs and there were some eyes!
Clue #2: Eventually you will grow up, but I know your parents wish you would stay a baby like this forever!
(eyes were on a baby picture)
Clue #3:  Eleven o'clock is way past your bed time!  I hope you don't stay up that late!
(eyes were on the clock)
Clue #4:  Each time you go outside, you must wear these on your feet!
(eyes were in the shoe closet)
Clue #5:  Even though it is not cold, you still love to snuggle up with this blanket!
(eyes were on Reece's Cars blanket)
Clue #6:  Elephants are enormous animals!
(eyes were on Clara's stuffed elephant)
Clue #7:  Exactly six years old was your age when you got this!
(eyes were on Reece's new scooter)
Clue #8:  Every night you use this to get squeaky clean!
(eyes were in the shower)
Reece thought this game was SO fun!

We talked about expressions/emotions and Reece loved making the faces for me!  Then we got Clara to make some expressions also!  (The one of her crying was not on purpose.  She was mad about wearing shoes.)

We had to run a few errands in town and when we got home, it was nap time for Clara.  Reece has pretty much outgrown naps, but he must have been exhausted because he curled up on the couch and feel asleep!
Next we made a volcano erupt!
Enchiladas for supper.
Then after supper we went to the "end of the road."  This is the very end of my grandparents/sister's road and since I was a kid we have always called this part of the lake the "end of the road."

Reece and Aaron swam.
Clara had the best time playing in the rocks and splashing!

These two little ones are lucky to have you for their mother, Kim! I don't know how you do it, but I'm glad you are having fun with them!
